Block boxes and easily build modular constructions

Block boxes are generally used for manufacturing equipment placement and as the facilities for operational and hardware control. They may consist of either one or several sections with subsequent joining at the constructed objects. 

The sizes of modular constructions depend on the Customer’s requirements and on regulations of motor and rail traffic transportations. Fastening elements for transportation on motor or rail traffic platform are located in the bottom and strapping loops for cargo-handling are placed on the top.

The block boxes are delivered prepared for use at most and that stipulates for minimal terms for their installation, balancing and tuning and bringing into service. The ability of their fast dislocation is conditioned by their design and minimal requirements to worksite.

The block boxes comply with the climatic version UHL1 according to GOST 15150 and are used at temperatures from minus 60º up to plus 50º therefore they protect and create special environment for manufacturing equipment in hard-to-reach or unserviceable areas and regions with the severities of climate. The characteristic feature of such buildings is their high heat insulating properties at relatively light weight.

The block boxes are equipped with lighting systems, electric heating (with automatic and manual control) and ventilation (natural and emergency draft ventilation). All electrical equipment mounted inside is implemented in explosion-proof version that makes it possible to operate them in explosive zones of class B-1a.

The block boxes are also equipped with automatic fire-fighting system, gas contamination control and warning system. Fire-fighting is accomplished by means of portable fire extinguishers. Froth generators and pipelines for connecting to fire-fighting system or mobile fire-fighting means are provided by Customer’s order.

To protect from unauthorized access the block box doors are equipped with mortise locks and limit switches. If Customer orders it is possible to install burglar alarm sensors and video cameras.

The block box structure is made of metal channel bar, the walls, roofing and floor are fabricated from «sandwich» panels with flame-proof filling material. It is possible to fabricate wall panels with such filling materials as ragstone, foamed plastic, polyurethane, and according to stuff technology. Easily demolished wall or window structures are provided for block boxes in compliance with SNIP 31-03-2001.

Various options of thermal insulation level, inner finish, lay out (of doors, windows, partitions) and equipment are realized in compliance with the Customer’s requirements depending on building operating conditions. Standardized buildings are also available. The inner finish of the block, painting and, if ordered, symbology can be implemented in Customer’s corporate style.
