Metrology

One of the main trends of the enterprise «SPE «GKS» activity is metrological and engineering support for measurement systems (accounting assemblies) reporting the quantity and quality rating of liquid and gas hydrocarbons (crude oil, oil products, gaseous condensate, gas, etc.).

 

Metrological service of «SPE «GKS» is accredited and possesses the right for verification of probing technologies composing systems for measurement the quantity and quality rating of liquid and gas hydrocarbons. In the register of accredited metrological services of legal entities it is assigned №1467 (the Federal Agency of Technical Regulation and Metrology order №489of February,10, 2009).

Metrological service of «SPE «GKS» possesses the license for gauges and measuring means repair (the Federal Agency of Technical Regulation and Metrology order №356 of February, 3, 2009).


Metrological service of «SPE «GKS» possesses the basic standards in all areas of hydrocarbonic primary products physicochemical parameters measurement that makes it possible to completely implement verification of probing technologies composing systems for measurement in full:

  • volume and mass flow (mobile reference units);
  • temperature (temperature calibrator model ATS 157V with platinum impedance transformer STS100 A901as a unit);

  • pressure (multifunctional pressure calibrator MC5-R0IS);
  • analog and current signals from measuring-calculating controllers (multifunctional calibrator МС5-R-IS, electric signal calibrator СА-11Е, electric signal calibrator СА-71);
  • physicochemical parameters including density (installation based on the pyknometers ARCCO and laboratory balance LP 6200S);
  • component analysis (using reference calibration and verification mixtures).
     
Verification of measuring means can be accomplished both on-site and on the basis of enterprise «SPE «GKS» standards laboratory.

Metrological service of «SPE «GKS» also carries out calibration of measuring channels of such systems as ASUTP, ASUE, SAPKZ, PAZ, STM.

Metrological service of «SPE «GKS» organizes and takes part in such events as:

  • testing procedures for type confirmation, elaboration of measurement techniques regulations for measuring means and measurement systems, in conference with GCI SI elaboration of documentation package for submitting to NTK of Rostechregulirovanie.
  • realization of complex maintenance works and verification of volume and mass flow measuring means; temperature, pressure, density, water volume fraction gaging equipment and control instrumentation for component and fractional analysis, measures of complete match (reference dosimeters), measuring-calculating controllers and measurement systems for quantity and quality characterization of liquid and gas hydrocarbons;
  • elaboration realization of complex maintenance works of methodology for mass measurement of liquid and gas hydrocarbons in compliance with GOST R8.563-96 and GOST R 8.595-2004 and its subsequent assertion, attestation and registration in the Federal Register (of crude oil, oil products, gaseous condensate, gas, etc.);
  • realization of complex works on metrological support at gas industry objects projecting in compliance with STO Gazprom 2-1.15-205-2008 «Metrological Support at Gas Industry Objects Projecting».
