Automatic fire-fighting and gas contamination control systems (SAFFGSS)

«SPE «GKS» realizes design, producing, chief-mounting, commissioning and start-up, and following technical support of the systems of automated fire-fighting and gas contamination control (SAFFGSS) on the basis of program and technical complexes of automated fire-fighting (PTC SAFF).

Program and technical complexes of automated fire-fighting system (PTC SAFF), produced by «SPE «GKS» correspond to the norms of fire safety regulations existing in the territory of RF.
 

PTC SAFF might be realized on the basis of STARDOM controllers produced by Yokogawa Electric, Japan, Certificate of authenticity No 0644069 in the certification system of GOST RF State Standard of Russia, as well as on the basis of Simatic S7 controllers produced by SIEMENS, Germany, Certificate of conformance No 0644065 in the certification system of GOST RF State Standard of Russia. Specialists of «SPE «GKS» and VNIIPO «POZHTEST» ran tests of PTC SAFF.  Mentioned certificates expand for serial output.

 
PTC SAFF provides reception of signals from automatic and hand fire-alarm boxes of various kinds, as well as control of fire-alarm boxes plumes in case of break and short-circuit. In accordance with demands of regulating documents (NFS 75-98, GOST R 51089-97), PTC SAFF provides carrying out of reception and control function of the device (DRC) and device of fire control (DFC).
 

If applied tactic of fire-fighting proposes automatic trip and/or changing of work modes of technological equipment by devices of SFA, PTC SAFF can realize necessary procedures providing them with transformation of messages to central control points (CCP), operators’ stations (OS) and other warning devices SFA.
 

SAFFGSS for concrete technological object is completed in design way of typical program and hardware modules. Designing SAFFGSS it is applied wide nomenclature of input/output modules that gives an opportunity of making fire control stations of various designation and capacity (from a unity up to several hundreds of incoming/outgoing signals). Defining the structure of equipment PTC SAFF takes into account technical characteristics used in SFA structure of PI types, devices of warning, installations of fire-fighting and other equipment.
 

In the structure of fire warning system and automated system of fire-fighting PTC SAFF provides processing of the following functions:

  • Reception of signals from fire-alarm boxes (PI);
  • Power supply of active (current) PI;
  • Control of light and alarm boxes;
  • Delivery of information into various informational displays, mnemonic diagrams and central monitoring point;
  • Informational interaction with other equipment, included into the structure of the systems of fire automatics (SFA): PPKP, PPU, engineering (technological equipment) etc.;
  • Forming of control signals by automatic devices of fire-fighting (ADFF);
  • Control of condition of ASFF.


PTC SAFF provides reception of signals from automatic and hand PI of various types, as well as control of plumes of PI in case of break or short-circuit:

  • Heat PI;
  • Smoke (optical, ionized, ultrasound) PI;
  • Fire alarm-boxes of flame;
  • Hand PI;
  • Thermal converters of resistance and thermocouple group;
  • Other devices used as PI.

PTC SAFF provides reception of signals of equipment condition control, included in SFA, as well as technological equipment and engineering systems of the object:

  • Control of doors position;
  • Control of electric bolts position;
  • Control of level in water tanks of fire-fighting installations;
  • Pressure control in cylinders and pipelines of fire-fighting installations;
  • Other parameters, which reflect condition of SFA equipment and influence on tactics of fire-fighting.


PTC SAFF provides control of the following visualization devices, as well as chain control in case of break or short-circuit:

  • Light alarm-boxes;
  • Sound alarm-boxes;
  • Combined alarm-boxes;
  • PTC SAFF provides delivery of information for the following visualization devices, as well as chain control in case of break or short-circuit:
  • Informational displays and devices of information delivery;
  • Mnemonic diagrams;
  • Points of central monitoring and operator’s station SFA;
  • Other devices used for fire warning and alarm-boxes.


PTC SAFF provides management and control of automated fire-fighting parameters of following types:

  • Water, low foam expansion, medium foam expansion fire-fighting installations;
  • High-expansion foam fire-fighting installations;
  • Water-spray fire-fighting installations;
  • Gas suppression system;
  • Dry chemical powder fire-fighting system of module type;
  • Aerosol fire-fighting system.


PTC SAFF also provides management and control of engineering equipment parameters:

  • Main and duplicated pumps (fire pumps and dosing-pump);
  • Electric drive of stop valves;
  • Other devices included in SFA structure.

«SPE «GKS» disposes the own inserting manufacturing of control cabinets of SAFFGSS and polygon for their arrangement, that allows minimize time and financial costs for systems start-up in the Contractor’s objects.
